...meeting baby Pax...

...we've been settling into life as a party of five and had lots of visitors...our house has truly been bustling with love...my sister in law always tells me how much she loves the newborn phase...and I have to agree...the more you have, the less you stress and are able to savor...or at least, the more you realize how fast it all goes so you prioritize differently...

...regardless of why, we've been sneaking in a few moments of our own to enjoy the littlest  wonder...
...and the first visitor outside of family was Ms. Betsy...who has done all of our family photos and came prepared with bribes for my older ones and lots of patience for the perfect shots of our newest...
...and thank goodness she insisted four days old was plenty...even when I was texting her incessantly while in labor debating over the perfect time to come...because at nine days old we were back in the hospital for jaundice and it has been kind of a whirlwind when it comes to Pax since then...
...Pax went on a very strict feeding schedule once we left the NICU and he and I have spent time together every three hours or so, ever since...

...but Mommy hasn't minded the time...this guy has nestled his way straight into my heart...

..and he has melted the hearts of my older two also...we watched as they placed their very favorite things on Pax, to share, one morning...and they don't share these items with anyone...
...they are always begging to hold baby Pax and have a very good hold on his head and neck when it is their turn...

...but getting back to the visitors...I did a terrible job early on documenting all that came to hold the baby and offer their love, food, gifts and prayers...we are so blessed...

...but there are some that spent lots of time with him early on to give Mommy and Daddy a break...

...and family visiting means fun for all...

...and meeting with Dr. Lowther is always a treat because our pediatrician comes to the hospital every day to visit with his newest patients...and then we go visit him one week later...
...and those daily hospital visits are extremely important for a nervous Momma stuck in the NICU...we sure have been in good hands...

...and we did get a few pics of Pax meeting Roxanne...who also met the other two very shortly after their births...our children love Ms. Roxanne from the start...

...and I could say the exact same for Ms. Sherrie...who is our 'river friend' that has known us when we were a simple party of two...and the kids have a special place in their heart for 'John and Shewwie'...

...and once Pax hit 9 weeks it was time for him to hit the road for his first vacation...and the chance to meet his cousins and Uncles and Aunt...and what better place than the Happiest Place on Earth...

...and seeing the beach for the first time in sunny FL is perfect at 9 weeks...since Daddy was born here...and doing it with your cousin Mae makes it perfect...
...and with all of the chaos, we love to grab him any chance we get and just hang out...
...he is a treat to be around and is truly living up to his name...he is such a peacful, gentle boy...

...Thank you to all that have come to see our newest addition...we are so grateful for your love...
