...Another Year...
...My little ones love Birthdays...theirs of course...but they are up to celebrate at anytime...and they have gotten to celebrate quite a few lately...
...and Papa loves pies, so he prefers pies over 'foo foo icing,' (his words, not mine) anyday...and the kids don't discriminate on dessert...
...and we got to celebrate this year with Poppy too...but poor ole Pop opted out of his own cake and settled for a slice of Paxton's leftover baptism cake....
...and somehow the kids got presents from Pop (and Grandma) on his Birthday...there is something about grandparents...especially Great ones...
...and Gramma had a big birthday that we are going to be celebrating twice this year...since her present included an RV weekend in the fall...

...and the kids were as excited for Gramma to open it as they are for the trip...they had to show her that they have their beds already picked out...
...and we had our first real experience with helium...Chase and Ava each had a balloon bouquet to bring to Gramma but somehow in his excitement outside I found myself jumping to grab Chase's bunch a few seconds too late...and he had to watch as they dramatically floated higher and higher...I had no idea the tears it would evoke...
...but we pulled it together enough to get this shot...
...can you tell who was happy she hung on to her balloons?...
...and don't we all wish that we could be this happy to turn another year older...
