...what a view...
...so this is what the world looks like from the back of the new vessel...although we won't see it again for about six months since we have already trudged through our first snowfall of the season...
...but the view around here has been fun...and more relaxing...hence my ability to post a few times in a month...
...and we're soaking up some relaxation time and creative play...it's amazing how much fun they have with little use of toys...like 'playing pretend marrying' in their words...I hear the running voice of Ava saying, 'Chase, wanna play marry me?!'...this time they even had a ring bearer complete with a pillow...
...and for the record, Kirk reminds them we don't marry siblings...but I'm just happy they are playing and it isn't violent...
...and we popped in a few stores between errands last weekend and stumbled upon Anna, Elsa, Santa and some reindeer...it wasn't your average errands...
...this guy has taken a bath just about everywhere...with three, I'm learning you literally take advantage of every moment...like when holding a filthy baby and standing near the kitchen sink...
...did I mention relaxing?!...this weather has us all staying in PJ's and snuggling...
...and Mommy and Daddy were craving a nice, white tablecloth kinda dinner...so we re-discovered that an old family favorite is actually a family friendly nice restuarant...and it was outstanding just as we remembered...Spiros...for those reading locally...
...and then we spent the rest of the weekend last weekend indoors enjoying the snow...and little bubba has grown a second tooth so we are experiementing with all kinds of 'real foods'...
...he has loved sweet potatoes, white potatoes, cheese's, other veggies...well everything...except the jars of meat...but he will suffer through those...It's not hard to tell why he's grown from falling off the growth charts to over 90% once you share a meal with him...
...one of the great things about Kirk's impromptu work travel is that it often takes him places where he can sneak in a short family visit...and when those involve sisters, neices and nephews and airplanes...everyone is on board...
..and speaking of Daddy's work...he brought little buddy to work last week when he was on Daddy duty while the others were at school...looks like we might have another Aircraft Salesman in the making...
...and all these weekends of little plans and errands mean a few meals on the go...and Steak and Shake is probably once or twice a year event...so we literally drink it up...and these two sure enjoyed their time...
...and we are fueled up for a big holiday...complete with family in town and lots of delicious treats...stay tuned...
