...Spring Sports...
....So Ava decided this was her year for softball....she's watched her brother play a ton of baseball and has gotten into a great group of Kindergarden girl friends that area fun loving, adventure seeking girls....so when they all signed up for softball...Ava was in...
...and it's so funny because for someone whose never played before...she cannot wait until they are out of the training league and able to truly win or lose....
...my girl is a competitor...
...and she's been rocking the visor and tall socks like a pro...
...and much of her inspiration comes from her good friend, Payton, who does softball with her and now gymnastics also....
...and Payton sometimes joins us for dinner afterwards also which Paxton finds so fun too...
...and Maddie is another fave...she's in the same KDG class also...and has a brother named Chase that plays hockey.....
...yep, my girl is having a fun and active spring...Kindergarden has been so great for her....reading so much more, loving school and new friendships....not so great for her teeth as we are now down four baby teeth with the most recent one swallowed....gulp....but everything else has been going so well....
...and speaking of sports...this guy is dying for his own game....we are thinking maybe fall ball for him....he's still only 4....
...I've got to hand it to my Chaser....he's been an awesome spectator for Ava's sports....for the most part...and plays catch with his baby bro while Ava plays...
...and with hockey wrapping up...he's getting his baseball thirst quenched with a sweet group of boys on the Mavericks team....some hockey friends and school friends...and they are really coming together....
..and goodbye to hockey is only for the summer months of June and July....well of course except camps...and the jerseys for the fall are already here....the boys are so excited about Chase's new jerseys....
...and with that....spring sports are a wrap...almost....few more games...one more tourney and then it's really summer break....
