…the crossing…
…our captain had us prepped and ready…fueled up and great weather for our crossing that took less than two hours…we had spots where we could see no shoreline..but I don’t think I have ever experienced a better boating day…sunshine and flat seas…and a improvised fix to the roof that allowed some sun but no rattling…
…yep…today the joy was in the journey for sure…
…we’ve been playing on technology a lot on the runs but today we had no cell service…beautiful…so we just talked, read, snacked and watched the world pass…until we got to the first site of landfall…
…and exploring Washington Island by dinghy allowed for views of the crystal clear water and swimming…at a dock recommended for jumping and playing…
…and while this place is much more
primitive…we still managed to find the ice cream shop…
…more exploring tomorrow…
