Family Fun...
...we are having so much fun this summer with our family visits...so when Uncle Chad had a meeting in Columbus, it only made sense to come here for a visit on the way back West...and because we spend time talking on face time and on the phone...Chase knows exactly who Uncle Chad is and couldn't wait for him to arrive...he got to stay up a little late and was beyond excited to give Uncle Chad the house tour...complete with, 'Uncle Chad, this is your room, it's the yeyyo room, and it's right by my room!'...and it wasn't long before...'and we can read a story together before bedtime, like Whitening McQween'...
...and we spent five days enjoying the company in our house...and Uncle Chad had a shadow...
...and someone else was all smiles for her Uncle...
...Daddy and Uncle Chad were able to join together on a sales meeting that went very well while he was in St. Louis and it just might bring him back to see us sooner than we thought...it was the perfect way for the boys to start a day that ended with an afternoon boating...and all the boys love a boat ride...
...and Grafton isn't Grafton without time with Aunt Awwy Pawwy and Uncle Tobie...
...one of Kirk's favorite things is having someone else drive the boat so he can relax in the back...and there are few people he trusts fully with the job...
...and the help cleaning isn't bad either...
...and then there were lots of fun times just hanging out...
...and getting your T-Ball trophy is so much more fun when Daddy, Mommy, Ava and Uncle Chad are there to watch you...
...and while she can't quite verbalize it the way that Chase does, the little princess enjoyed the visit too...she is talking more and more and outside of Mama and Dada, I'm convinced she says 'Doggie' to Marley....and she waves hello and goodbye with such enthusiasm...and for the first time this week...she showed signs of separation anxiety...which I hate for her...but I just read that it is a sign of her developing maturity...and I can tell you, she is maturing...it is amazing the personality she is developing...there is something about having a girl...
...this is a rare bow-less picture when her crazy hair was roaming free...and speaking of crazy...my little painter came home from school last week with paint all over his shirt and stories to tell...he is enjoying school just a little bit more...summer camp, as they call it at school, has brought fun things like a petting zoo and the ice cream man which helps...
...and Marley is enjoying her time with the family too...after all she was the first born baby...
...we are looking forward to more fun family visits soon to our little slice of happily ever after...
