...Over the River and through the Woods...
...On Christmas Day, I called my grandparents to tell them that we had planned a weekend to come and visit their house and celebrate Grandma's birthday in January...and since we hasn't seen them since October, they were very excited we were going to be there sooner than later...
...and Kirk's family snowmobiling trip had been postponed due to no snow in Minnesota in Jan...what are the chances?!?!...so we were elated to know that Daddy was making the trip with us...
...so we painted up our magnets for Grandma's Birthday present, packed our bags, and hit the road...
...and Grandma's not much for waiting until her actual Birthday to open a gift...and Chase and Ava aren't sticklers on it either...
...and then it was time for fun at Grandma and Poppy's house...
...and playing pool...
...or just getting comfy and hanging out...
...and then it was off for adventures...one of the Auterson traditions is managing to have way too many agendas squeezed into each day...but we always manage to accomplish way more than we imagine is possible...
...like trips to the Toy Store, the shoe store, lunch, naps, the Bouncing Barn, dinner and another shoe store...and that was with starting the day at 10am...
...and it doesn't account for the bath and playtime at home...which was a specially made kiddie shower and the spinning chair game...you can see...no one likes the spinning chair game...
...and reading new books...
...with a quick group shot, we were off...
...and this silly little lady, on the trip home, said, Mommy, mommy, hat!...and this is what I saw...I was cracking up...
...Another great trip to Indiana in the books, everyone in this house is feeling rested, rejuvenated and ready to take on the work week...thank you Grandma and Poppy for all of our new goodies and for all your hospitality...Chase is already asking when are we going back...Love you both...
