...Snowy Days and Sleepy Nights...

...Amidst the hectic of work, winter and crazier than normal travel schedules, we woke up to a surprise weekend snow that left us with a day of no plans and 4 inches of snow on the ground...so we took full advantage of our first sledding with Ava and Chase's first time to really get it...

...and Ava Belle is talking so much more right now...her most common phrase is 'thank you Momma' but it comes out 'TankYaMomma'...and it really means thank you...but it doesn't matter who she is thanking...Momma, Daddy, Grandma...it always comes out 'TankYaMomma'...and Ava is getting out the word Gramma much earlier than Chase did and much clearer...which is shocking considering how Chase has always been complimented on being very articulate...she is following right in her brothers verbose footsteps...

...although on this day, with all of this gear, she was far from thanking Momma...

...but Chase couldn't help but explaining how much fun it would be every step of the way in getting ready...

...but snow wasn't the only weekend fun...birthday parties with school friends and trips to the car wash topped the fun this weekend...it's the funniest things that can be such an adventure for them...

...and a box of new clothes from Grandma and Poppy...but more importantly....STICKERS...which are a favorite of both of them at the moment...
...add in some fun of Superbowl and a new TV with 3D...

...and everyone was worn out...

...and it makes me laugh how often I talk about all of our adventures and then end with how tired we all are...but it is that time in life, we are taking in all of the adventures we can handle and sitting out for nothing...

...with a few hours to ourselves, we almost always end up hopping in the car and heading out for some fun or an adventure and the reward is tired, fulfilled kiddos...which leads to tired, fulfilled Mommies and Daddies...

...but it also leads to interesting conversations with Chase and a warm feeling that these adventures stimulate new ideas for him daily...and new thoughts, new dreams and excitement for upcoming vacations and events...
