...December continued....Cousins visit and Pops turns 70...
...I'll struggle to put this visit into words...so I will try and let the pictures do it justice...although there is no way a picture can put into you the feeling of knowing that your cousins are coming to sleep at your house, knowing that we will be hosting a birthday party for Pops...knowing that there will be enough family and friends surrounding us daily to share in the meal making, the laughter and the love over coffee, paper plate lunches or evenings filled with wine and memories...
....and sharing new experiences together like dressing up for Birthday brunch...
...or sharing sweet stories with Pops...or kisses with your cousin closest in age...
...or taste testing things in a Science experiment with your cousins....
...lego building....
..or getting pedicures or riding atamans....
...truly memories to last a lifetime...filled with cancelled flights...more days together...little sleep but so much fun....building bonds of family and friendship that can only be done with waking mornings together...nights of dancing well after bedtime...sharing clothes, stories and snacks....it was truly a perfect visit and a perfect end to Christmas Vacation...
...Happy 70th Pops...
...and thanks for being the reason for the celebration, because the travels in from Chicago, Connecticut, Florida and California aren't easy but made for such a special time....
