...Daddy/Ava Day...
....Kirk has always recognized the importance of one on one time with the kids...perhaps being one of three himself has taught him some things...I am learning along the way...but Daddy got an idea to get Ava out on the slopes and did the legwork to set up a great day...
...he called ahead and planned a lesson, got the times and the rental information and picked up Ava for a half day of school to hit the slopes...
...they even went shopping together to get new ski pants the weekend prior...note the Miami Dolphins colored ski bibs...
...to say that she loved it sounded like an understatement...she's been talking about it ever since and asking Chase if he wants to go skiing with her on a weekend since in Kindergarden you can't take a half day to be a ski bum...
...they ended their fun with a early dinner at Mulligan's...our favorite place and early is the only time to go or you will wait way too long for a family with little ones....
...and the smiles like this....with the extra twinkle in her eye...these smiles are different...this little one has a very special relationship with her Daddy...she is happiest when they are together... just this week she drew a picture at school of the two of them flying to Florida together and then coming home to go to Chuky Cheese together, with Chase too...
...I am so very lucky...as is Ava...we've got the very best when it comes to Daddies...
