...Joy in the Journey...
...this is one of those posts....where there wasn't a big moment...and while all of these moments are important...they will all add up in my mind as just part of the journey on this life as a party of five...and a party of three young kids...but no babies...nope, we have three kiddos....that don't use diapers...or strollers...or really anything baby...and while that is a bitter sweet thought...it is so much more sweet than bitter....I am exactly where God intended I be and the baby phase isn't part of it and while I LOOOOOVEEED that phase....I am loving this phase just as much....
...you know the one where haircuts are fun and simple....
...and my journey involves baseball...so much baseball...
...games, practices, uniforms....
...and Daddy isn't just a coach for both boys...he's their biggest fan...
...well maybe their second biggest fan...
...three year old baseball....seven year old baseball...actually 8U baseball is technically what Chase is playing this year...oh and Cardinals Baseball...because they are back too!...

...taking the family is easier than it's been and so much fun...and not cheap....because this crew loves some baseball treats...

...and hockey is still keeping us hoping too...and we've moved to Creve Coeur because Chesterfield closed the rink so we've all been displaced...but it's nice to see some familiar faces there in Creve Coeur each week....although this is more of Daddy and Chase's thing right now...sitting in stands and watching is still a bit beyond the attention spans of the younger two...we are working on it...
...attention spans are held by Birthday parties...and certainly ones that reunite the old Goddard Crew...these boys were together from age one....6/7ths of their little lives....
...these ones too...Goddard creates some memories....
...and this party invited all of the littles which was so nice...
...Church has been lots of fun lately too...since Momma started teaching Sunday School the drop offs are a little easier and the excitement is a little stronger...like for the Palm Sunday Parade....
....we've also been enjoying some time up at Kehrs Mill School for Math night...
...and Donuts with Dads....
....but perhaps the best of the updates is that we are BACK on the boat....
...and while we aren't planning long sleepovers and getting to the boat is a little tougher between sports schedules....but we snuck in a Sunday afternoon on the river and had more fun and made more memories than we have in some much longer trips....
...it's all about the journey...
...this one might give Chase a run for his First Mate status....she drove almost all the way from St. Charles to Grafton and did great....
I'd be remissed if I didn't mention Paxton's fridat trip to the dentist...and while I feel guilty that he doesn't get his own post for this first...he handled just like it is in this post...it was just another simple thing for Paxton....he followed his siblings back to the chair and got his teeth cleaned like a champ....
...and our dentist is such a great place for kiddos...he watched Paw Patrol and got a bunch of goodies for his clean teeth and clean bill of health...
...and in between it all we have managed to spend some time at home...we put a small addition on the back of the house last year and we keep calling 2017 'the year we enjoy it all'....and the first glimpses of warm air have given us time to do just that....
...we made a Palm Sunday of our own decorating the back yard....

...and I am exhausted from just reading and writing this post...let alone living through it....but it really is an easier phase physically than those of recent past...and it is so fun...we are constantly exploring, talking and enjoying the heck out of each other....
....don't get me wrong, we argue and grumble like any five people living under one roof....oh, do we ever....but at the end of each and every day we thank God for our blessings of the day and ask for forgiveness of our sins....
...and I am reminded that it is truly all about the journey....
